Terms & Conditions

Last updated October 14, 2026

Agreement

Stowshelf is operated by Stowshelf ("we"). By using Stowshelf (the website, the app at /app and the browser extension), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Your content

What you save is yours. It's stored on your device and, if you sign in, synced to your account. Keep your own backups (Profile → Export) of anything you can't lose. Only save content you have the right to save, and respect the copyrights of the sites you save from.

Acceptable use

Don't use Stowshelf to break the law, to harm or harass others, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers, including the link preview service.

Reports and takedowns

If a shared collection infringes your rights or is abusive, email hello@stowshelf.com with its link (or use "Report this collection" at the bottom of the page). We remove content that breaks these terms and may close the account that shared it.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep access to your email secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Plans and payment

Stowshelf has a free plan and two paid ones: Pro, billed monthly or yearly, and Lifetime, paid once (the first seats go at a lower founding price). Current prices and limits are shown in the app. Payments are processed by Razorpay; its terms also apply to the payment itself. Prices include any taxes we're required to charge. Pro renews until you cancel it from Profile; after cancelling it runs to the end of the period you paid for, then your account returns to Free and nothing you saved is deleted. Lifetime gives you Pro's features as they exist when you buy, plus the updates we make to them, for the life of the product, with up to 10 GB of stored copies and images per account. It doesn't include add-on tiers we may sell separately later.

Refunds

Every paid plan (Pro monthly, Pro yearly and Lifetime) comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email hello@stowshelf.com within 30 days of a charge and we refund it in full, through Razorpay, to the payment method you used. A refund ends the plan it paid for: your account returns to Free and nothing you saved is deleted.

The service

Stowshelf is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Features may change or stop. We aren't liable for lost data or indirect damages; to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Third-party sites and trademarks

Saved links point to sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices. Product and browser names mentioned on our site or in the app (such as Pocket, Raindrop, Instapaper, Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Google Maps) are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe file-format compatibility, and don't imply affiliation or endorsement.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and continuing to use Stowshelf means you accept the new terms.
